Sleek stripes break up a bracelet of bold gold...this banded bracelet makes a statement. In deep garnet, topaz, and gold, this bracelet is a luxe treasure fit for a queen.

This project blends standard peyote stitch, using size 8 Delicas and Quarter Tilas, with a couple of additional steps to create a watchband style bracelet with a wide variety of color combinations. One Half Tila may be substituted for the Quarter Tilas (See the Stark project).

Use your thread of choice keeping in mind that it must be able to make 2 passes through the half tila beads.  Using a Sharps needle, Kim tried Micro C-Lon and Fireline for this project. KO and Hana threads would also be good choices. 

Note: Pull your thread taut, but not too tight to minimize rippling. Remember to leave your beads some air!
