Sky City
Project Map
Project and Sample by Alley Mori
In New Mexico you’ll find the Acoma Pueblo village known as Sky City. It sits atop a 376 foot tall mesa surrounded by a surreal landscape of soaring buttes, rock pinnacles, and piles of gigantic boulders. Occupied since at least 1150, possibly as early as 900, it may be the oldest continuously inhabited community in North America. *The Raku Mix is perfect here...separate by color and get beading! If you’re using a pre-mixed SuperDuo color you’ll need just the one tube, but if you’d like to create your own color combination, pick up a few tubes! Add a few beads from your stash to a headpin to make a quick and easy dangle for the end of your extender chain.
Alley’s SuperDuo Cuffs bring a rainbow of colors (and cultures!) into one cohesive piece, showing us that Nature really does know what she’s doing. And so does Alley! Creating a fabulous handout that goes over the ins and outs of the construction of this cuff, right down to the little extra embellishments.
