A shekere is a beaded musical instrument from West Africa made from a dried goard with a netting of beads over it. This Textured Fringe bracelet can make a similar, (but quieter!) sound on your wrist. The mix of earthtones in this design harken back to this beautiful instrument.
Fringe is usually the last part of a beaded project, it’s the icing on the cake! But, in this spiky, textured design it's all about the fringe: short, long, and medium…each has a role to play.
