Fireline is considered by many to be the strongest fiber you can get for bead stringing. In beadweaving where strength can be critical (crystals and other beads can cut your thread), Fireline is the go-to. It is a pre-waxed braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene, which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has unbelievably high tensile strength. It will fit a #12 English beading needle. Made in America by Berkley, a very respected company in the fishing industry, and distributed by The Beadsmith. We recommend cutting Fireline with a scissors or Xuron Maxi Shear Flush Cutters. Fireline is not intended to be used with crimp beads.
Sold by the spool of 15 yards.
