Project and Sample by Drea Carbone

We're always looking for the next innovation on the horizon...and thus, we bring you The Horizon Bracelet! One of the most often-asked questions we see is about making laddered bracelets adjustable. If you're using a button closure you can certainly add extra button loops, but this method takes some of the guesswork out and allows for an extra inch or two that could be the reason your future gifts or sales work out!

Using leather ends means any type of clasp can be attached, too! Leave off the chain and add magnetic clasps or a toggle.

Marina is a 5-wrap using patterns of metal beads. Each wrap echoes the beads in the wrap before it. Starting at the clasp end, Drea patterned 3 rows of stacks/beads with one single bead/stack.
For example, wrap one is 3 rows Cogs - 1 Bicone - 3 rows Cogs - 1 Bicone - 3 rows Cogs - 1 Bicone - and so on

Wrap 2 takes the Bicones as the focus and patterns 3 Bicones - 1 row Tiny Rice - 3 Bicones - 1 row Tiny Rice - 3 Bicones - 1 row Tiny Rice -  and so on.

Wrap 3 now focuses on the Tiny Rice and introduces the Shadow. 3 rows Tiny Rice - 1 Shadow - 3 rows Tiny Rice - 1 Shadow - 3 rows Tiny Rice - 1 Shadow - etc

Wrap 4 highlights Shadows and adds in Double Spacers. 3 Shadows - 1 row Double Spacers -  3 Shadows - 1 row Double Spacers -  3 Shadows - 1 row Double Spacers -  etc.

The fifth and final wrap uses rows of Double Spacers with Tribal Heishi. 3 Shadows - 3 rows Double Spacers -  1 row Tribal Heishi - 3 Shadows - 3 rows Double Spacers -  1 row Tribal Heishi - 3 Shadows - 3 rows Double Spacers -  1 row Tribal Heishi - taper to the end.
