Linda Rolsma used our Compadres by Brittany Ketcham, as inspiration for her Beader Showcase entry. We love her festive color palette and the use of contrasting cord and leather gives the piece an extra “pop!” The sunflower button is the perfect finish to this whimsical design.
Linda is a relatively new beader. Hailing from Colorado, she has been inspired by beadshop.com to begin making jewelry over the past year. In addition to beading, she enjoys her spending time with her children and many pets, sewing, and gardening.
We love this project too, Linda! It’s a great follow-up project to our always popular Tricks to Laddering. This variation has you ladder AND braid! What could be better? Because this project is considered Intermediate Level, prior experience with laddering, macramé and silk-wrapping are important.
