Project and Sample by Kate Richbourg
We all know it, we all love it! Kate’s simple bracelet has quickly become not only her favorite, but all of ours, as well! We’ve gotten so many questions about what materials she’s used that we decided it needed its Project Page…so here it is. Now you can make your own Kate’s Favorite Bracelet!
This three-wrap bracelet has become Kate’s signature, much like Trail Ride has become Janice’s!
Kate uses Infinity Stitch to ladder her Shadows between 2mm leather. To secure her button, Kate Silk Wraps with .5mm Leather and then begins to Infinity ladder. She ends with another Silk Wrap of .5mm leather, then ties an overhand knot and trims the tails to create the button loop.
Kate used a button she handmade in her studio from an old coin, which is one-of-a-kind. We suggest using a Concho Button in Antique Brass…it’s got the same size and heft to it and it’s also one of Kate’s faves!
