Please log on to Zoom 15 minutes before the class start time so everyone is ready to begin class promptly on the hour.
Class Fee: $65.00

Students are encouraged to sew along with Kate as she demonstrates how to use a rotary cutter, mat, and ruler to create the bag pattern using a simple “measure and cut” method. You’ll come away with a solid understanding of basic bag construction fundamentals, including interfacing, structure, and finishing details.
Students can also just watch Live and rewind and watch later. It's totally up to you!
Students can choose between two options to gather their materials:
- Purchase a Complete Kit – includes all materials to make your bag. Tools are not included.
- Bring Your Own – A materials list will be sent out to everyone who registers. Gather your own fabrics and notions.
- Kate's Custom Frida Patch is NOT included in the kit. Purchase one here.
Kits will be released in the next few weeks!
Each kit includes the custom handles (which will also be available for individual purchase). Several color options will be available. Kit does not include tools.
All students will need to provide basic sewing supplies, including thread, scissors, pins or clips, and (optional) ruler, rotary cutter, and cutting mat. The ruler, cutter and mat are what Kate uses to cut her pattern. You can use scissors instead. Specific guidelines for the mat, cutter and ruler will be on the materials list and may be purchased on our Amazon Affiliate Shop. Your pattern will be delivered electronically prior to class.
Please note: You should be familiar with your sewing machine, and it should be in good working order for class.
All Class Sales are final. This class is in Zoom format. Students will have access to the class recording after class ends, so if you are unable to attend the LIVE class (or you just want to watch and sew later), you may watch it at a later time and review it as often as needed.
Please, the class link is for your personal use only.
