Lapis- 6mm Rounds

Intended to enhance creativity and aid in dreaming, lapis is a stone that has been treasured for thousands of years. It was been known to be worn only by Emperors and Pharoahs; it was that rare and coveted.

We have found an old stash of beads that includes these in the back of a warehouse.... gathering some dust and becoming more scarce. It is considered B- Grade, which is still commercial grade and will have some occlusions and inconsistencies, but still better than anything made today that's B Grade!

Sizing Info: Beads are consistent and close to 6mm in size. Holes are 0.8-1.1mm. For knotting, we recommend Size E Silk or Fine C-Lon.

Stone was mined in Afghanistan and beads were made in China.

Sold by the 15-1/2 inch strand. Approximately 65 beads per strand.
