The five-petal rose has been a religious symbol for centuries representing the Virgin Mary and the rosary and Czechoslovakia’s official flower is a rose. When Tierracast created this metal button from a pattern they discovered on an antique glass button, it had history worth remembering. Originally made in California by TierraCast® ; they are now made in Greece of metal both lead and nickel-free. They are considered hypo-allergenic. This is a great button for almost any project with its shank generous enough to fit up to 2.0mm leather.
