La Cascade- A Special 6/0 Mix by Kate

This limited edition mix is a heartfelt tribute to La Cascade, the charming art house nestled in the village of Durfort, France, where I’m lucky enough to be teaching this week.

Inspired by the palette of the town and the quaint lane where La Cascade sits (pictured here), this blend captures the soft, earthy elegance of cobblestone streets, sun-drenched facades, patina blues of shutters and window boxes and abundant greens from moss and trees. The mix also includes the rosy glow of copper in a Duracoat Muscat bead, paying homage to the copper craftsmanship taking place in the town since the 15th century. 

Handpicked in a thoughtful 6/0 size, these beads are ideal for a simple wrap bracelet, weaving on a bead loom, or a stack of Bollywood Bracelets.
