Amethyst- 4mm Rounds

In ancient Greece, Amethyst was believed to ward off drunkenness. We know that doesn’t work, but it still is so beautiful on its own or in a design. As the February birthstone, Amethyst also has a special place in many designer's hearts.

Amethyst is mined today in Brazil, South Africa and Uruguay. The beads are manufactured in China. The stones have been heat treated and dyed to stabilize and enhance the natural color.

Sizing Info: These amethyst in 4mm are consistent in size. For knotting, we recommend Size 6 Griffin Silk or Micro C-Lon.

Sold on 8" strand. There are approximately 52 beads per strand.
