East Coast Gathering with Janice

Have you ever wanted to design your own beaded combs or headband? Janice is teaching a one-day workshop in Richmond Virginia. We’ll gather for a day of creativity, fun, and new connections. Janice has found an intimate meeting room that has great light, easy parking and comfortably seats 12 students.

What’s The Project?

Combs and head bands! Literally everyone has fun doing this; It's a 'No wrong outcomes" project. Learn to love wire wrapping and not thinking ahead when you bead.... it's very doable! The majority of responses at this summer's retreat in California were, "It's so fun" or "This is so relaxing" or "I didn't know it would be so fun, relaxing and easy!" So, let's enjoy the day and spend it embellishing!

What’s Included:

• 2 combs, 1 head band, beads, wire and the use of tools needed for the day. Just bring your creativity!
• Be sure to bring any special beads or charms you'd like to incorporate. 
• Even if you have short hair, these components can work for you. And, the most important thing is the techniques you'll be learning are easy. 
• There will be extension cords for anyone who wants to bring their personal light/magnifier.
• ☕ Coffee, tea, soft drinks and water are provided.
• All materials + use of tools included.
  
• Lunch is not included. Bring your lunch or grab lunch at a nearby restaurant when we take a break at 12:30 pm.

Workshop Fee: 

$50 per person when you sign up before Sept 15, 2025.
$75 per person when you sign up September 15 - October 10, 2025.
Space is limited to 12 students.

Unfortunately, Workshop Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, so please check the date and your availability before you reserve.

*If you are attending from out of town and need to stay overnight, rooms at Springhill Suites are large and available at a special discounted rate and easily sleep two. They must be booked through the manager. Please contact us at info@beadshop.com for the hotel manager's contact info.
