For centuries, the Krobo People of Ghana have been making beads from recycled glass. Using a method of grinding the glass to powder, the glass is then heated and poured into clay molds. A cassava leaf is placed in the center to form the hole. As the glass is baking the leaf disappears…and you have a bead! Color may vary from one batch to another. We like mixing this with Tide’s Out in Kelp. Imported from Africa.
Sold in package of 5 beads.
