Our Monthly Mix movie inspiration continues for 2025! Each month, one of our favorite films will set the scene for a stunning new bead mix.
This month's mix, Celie, is a tribute to The Color Purple, the powerful novel by Alice Walker and its equally moving film adaptation directed by Steven Spielberg.
Janice drew inspiration from the unforgettable scene where Celie and her sister, Nettie walk through tall grass, surrounded by a sea of purple flowers. Soft shades of violet, lavender, and lilac blend with touches of green, capturing the beauty and resilience found in both the story and nature itself.
