For January we are starting with a Kate favorite, Gosford Park. Named for Dame Maggie Smith's character, Constance, Dowager Countess of Trentham. One of Kate's favorite lines from the movie is when Constance utters, “difficult color, green,” in reference to an evening gown worn by one of the ladies. Since green is Kate's favorite color, she concocted a lush mix inspired by the scene where Constance drives up to the house at the beginning of the movie and her distaste for green in clothing.
