African Dotted Baule Bead

Big, bold, and beautifully textured, these Recycled Aluminum Baule* Beads make an incredible focal in a necklace or mixed-media design... or just to collect!

Hand-cast in Ghana from recycled aluminum, each bead is covered in raised lines, geometric details, and openwork accents. The bright silvery finish gives it plenty of presence, while the handworked surface keeps it feeling earthy and completely unique.

At approximately 54 x 41mm, this is definitely a statement bead. Pair it with recycled glass, trade beads, seed beads, leather, brass, gemstones, or other African-made components for a design rich in texture and contrast.

Because these beads are individually cast and finished by hand, expect variations in shape, surface, pattern, and finish. We think those little differences are exactly what make them so special.
