Remembering Nicole

Nicole Anderson was our dear friend and co-worker. She worked side by side with us at The Bead Shop and was instrumental in helping Janice launch beadshop.com. Nicole was the epitome of grace, beauty and kindness. She was an avid collector… she would bring home stray puppies, rush fallen birds to Wildlife Rescue and was known to stash away boxes and jars of beads. Nicole had a sense of humor and the core belief that standing by her friends was everything.

Nicole’s passing in April 2016 was sudden and unexpected. We had no idea we would lose such a dear friend so young, but she would be the first to tell us to celebrate her life, not mourn her passing.

So, thanks to the efforts of many, we are able to appreciate and find inspiration from the collages made from Nicole’s Pinterest Boards. Nicole was a prolific artist; Her ephemeral color palettes are so distinctive and are the inspiration for jewelry kits we have created to honor her.
