Horizontal Peyote Recipe

In Horizontal Peyote, the pattern is created lengthwise instead of the standard width of the bracelet. Free-form peyote stitch is a great way to use up bead soup. Just design on the fly—there is no right or wrong. Alternate large and small beads and blocks of color for the mosaic look.

Ingredients:

• 1 Button
• 1 Spool Fine C-Lon
• 1 Spool KO Thread
• 2 Strands 4mm Czech Fire Polish Rounds
• 1 Tube Half Tilas
• 2 Tubes 6/0 Miyuki Seed Beads
• 3-4 Tubes 8/0 Miyuki Seed Beads
• 1 Tube 11/0 Miyuki Seed Beads

You will also want to have:

Thread Snips, Size 10 Beading Needles, and Beeswax
