Tricks of the Trade, Multistrand Closure

There are many occasions (as jewelry designers) that we are frustrated by how much the clasp can limit our design ideas.... "I only have a clasp with two loops" or "I want to use a toggle but I have 6 strands of beads!" Why be limited by the loops on your clasp? Or that you want to use a button on a multi-strand design. It can be very frustrating to "have to find a clasp that works". This classic technique helps you think outside the box.

This bracelet design uses an assortment of beads ranging in sizes from 11/0 Miyuki Seed Beads to 6-8mm Rounds in stone. There are also beads we no longer sell.  Use the list on the side to explore categories and also create using beads you have in your studio.
