The Flower Stand

Project and Sample by Amanda Partin

After Kate shared a series of inspirational photos from a trip to the Farmer’s Market in our FB Group, Amanda designed this beautiful three-wrap bracelet based on a photo of fresh flower bouquets just waiting to be bought. From her bugle bead stems to the blending seed bead colors resembling the roses, this wrap is a delight! You can almost smell the flowers, can’t you?

With Amanda’s help we made a few replacements to her original design, which is pictured. See the Project Map below for more notes on the changes made.

Ingredients list is to the left and easy shopping can be done with the Shop Tab above! To see a breakdown of each individual wrap and Kate’s original photo, please see the Project Map below.

Amanda’s first wrap starts with the Giant Sunflower button and macramé with Eggplant Regular C-Lon. She then switched to Tuff Cord #1 to ladder, alternating Crystal AB Seed Beads and rondelles, which we have replaced with 3mm Milky Amethyst Celsian Czech Glass Fire Polish. We’ve also replaced her 6mm faceted amethyst rounds with 6mm Lavender Gold Luster Czech Melons. Between these are our flowers’ stems, the Sage Green Bugles.

The second wrap consists of Mint Regular C-Lon, using macramé with the pink seed beads to create a pebbled effect.

The third and final wrap is also laddered with Tuff Cord, with red and orange seed beads blending into more Bugles, with Tila Beads in between in the same shade of yellow as the sunflowers. In the center of this final wrap is a faceted prehnite bead, we’ve suggested 6mm Sueded Gold Peridot to replace this. To finish, she used the Eggplant C-Lon again. Beautiful!
