Project and Sample by Kate Richbourg
It's time to explore the Expedition Bracelet again! Leather, chain, and a clasp...such a simple recipe with such outstanding results! When the kit is sold out, or if want to create your own colorway, refer to the linked recipe above!
With the name of this project, Expedition, in mind, we thought it only right to name these samples after women explorers.
Kate created each sample with the sense of adventure and excitement that these women kindle. Sybil is named for Sybil Ludington, the woman who may have actually completed Paul Revere's famous ride. At 16 years old, Sybil took flight on a 40-mile expedition on April 26, 1777 to rally militiamen after the British raided and burned Danbury, Connecticut. Several family accounts of her heroism exist, and thus we're choosing to believe the tale!
You may want to review the original Expedition projects, and please join us as our worldwide community gathers on Facebook and YouTube at 10:30am Pacific Time on November 27th, 2024. It’s so much fun to go live with us and bead together! After the live broadcast the video will be available above.
