Project and Sample by Emily Miller
Let's make a stack of Sidekick bracelets to accent and fill up your wrist wardrobe! Kate's super Friendship Bracelet got us going this year. Nothing is more popular than a stack of fun bracelets. Summertime is the right time to load up that wrist, make a set of bracelets to keep or give.
*Take note: Our Silver Shadows have been delayed in arriving to us, so they're out of stock at the moment. We recommend trying an 8/0 or 6/0 Miyuki Seed Bead or an 8/0 or 6/0 Metal Seed Bead in it's place if you don't want to wait or don't have any in your stash!
Emily's ingredient list is simple: wire, a few pearls, and Chinese Knotting Cord for the delicate micromacramé. She chose pretty gray pearls for this one, but the recipe is totally adaptable to any beads you might have on hand. Adding a clasp that slides isn't a new trick, but it is a good idea to make a bracelet that will fit almost any wrist, perfect for giving to your bestie!
Please join us as our worldwide community gathers on Facebook and YouTube at 10:30am Pacific Time on July 24th, 2024. It’s so much fun to go live with us and bead together! After the live broadcast the video will be available above.
