African Turquoise- 6mm Rounds

African Turquoise is actually speckled Jasper found in Africa and often treated to simulate the beautiful blue-greens associated with Turquoise. It contains inclusions such as copper and iron, creating veins and mottling that range in color from rust to black. Considered a stone of transformation and evolution, it is believed to awaken those who carry it to their highest spiritual purpose.

Sizing Info: 6mm round with inner hole diameter 0.8-1.1mm. For knotting, we recommend Fine C-Lon.

Mined in Africa. Beads are imported from China. African Turquoise has been stabilized, as it is too soft to make beads.

Sold by the 8 inch strand. Approximately 34 beads per strand.
