A mala is traditionally used in Buddhism for meditation and chanting. With 108 beads plus a guru bead, they are both functional and beautiful. In this project, Janice has added pattern to the classic design of all one stone, which can take the mala from just plain to special. But that’s up to you! In this project, you will learn to knot using the classic pearl knotting method. Janice also covers how to knot the closure seamlessly, what cord size to use and how to add a tassel.
