Ferns are often referred to as "living fossils"; they date back more than 350 millions year ago. And, because they can regenerate themselves, they are often symbols of resiliency, tenacity and strength. Some cultures associate them with love, magic and peace.

This fern charm/pendant goes through a rigorous 2-step process; first 24kt gold is applied to the pewter base and then an additional antique coating is added to give it a vintage finish.
