“Nostalgia” can be about remembering childhood experiences and longing for the people and things we grew up with. When reading about the meaning of the colors cream and tan, each offers a look back to elegance, calmness, and grounding. They both reflect things most of us long for: security and safety. We think the combination of the two colors finds the right balance of remembering and dreaming.

With just 4 tubes of seed beads and 5 colors of Chinese Knotting Cord, you can make 15 bracelets! Add a few organza bags and think about the smiles on your friends’ faces when you gift them some Bliss! How perfect.

See the Project Map below for a Bird’s Eye View of what beads are paired with what cord. Bollywood is a video project. Be sure to click on the VIDEO tab above to watch. We do not have a companion handout for Bollywood, however these techniques are helpful to review, if you’re new to Bollywood:
Please note: We no longer sell Thread Zaps, which Brittany demonstrates in the video. You can secure your knots with GS Hypo-tube Cement and cut the excess cord with Thread Snips or Cutters.

Begin by cutting your base CKC 2 yards. Cut your macramé CKC 2 yards. When you're ready, cut 1/2 yard of CKC to make your fish tail adjustable knot. This design uses two sizes of Miyuki seed beads (6/0 and 8/0). In the video, Brittany uses 8/0 metal beads for the entire project, including the tails. We used 6/0 Miyuki beads for the tails  because the hole size fits better.
