Sample by Janice Parsons
Growing up at her mother’s vintage jewelry store, Janice touched and cared for old jewelry. She admired the beauty and specialness given to each section of a necklace…nothing was rushed over.
When building Longing, Janice took her time selecting beads of many varieties that would complement each other and repeat the shapes of the links of chain. By focusing on building one strand at a time, it allowed her the freedom to express a mood, a message.
Janice has been having a little love affair with Stones of Wisdom recently! Updating the look to add Czech Glass and pearls, this chain-heavy piece is oh-so interesting and fun to make. Each strand can stand alone, if desired. It’s when you put them together that the magic happens!
Check out our other Stones of Wisdom samples and our Recipe Page for the basics so you can make your own colorways, too. Enjoy!
