Project and Sample by Emily Miller
Join Emily in a two-part broadcast to set up and weave a split loom necklace using the Ojibwa Loom. Emily will walk you through the process to create a pattern, pick beads, and warp the loom for weaving. This is a showstopper of a project: big, but easy to break down into manageable bites. You'll be surprised how fast looming is to create a fabric of beads. This is not out of reach for beginners with the determination to tackle a bigger project!
In Part 2, Emily will show all the steps for removing your piece from the loom, weaving in the warps, and joining the neck of your piece. Then bask in all the admiration and plan your next design!
Please join us as our worldwide community gathers on Facebook and YouTube at 10:30am Pacific Time on January 24th and February 8th, 2023. It’s so much fun to go live with us and bead together! After the live broadcast the video will be available above.
