GemDuos Duet- Navy Ivory Matte AB

GemDuos are a fun diamond-shaped two-holed bead made by Matubo of Czechia, the same maker of our 2.0's and SuperDuos. Unlike beads that are simply coated on the surface, Duet beads start with two distinct colors of glass fused into a single bead. The glass is then coated with a color to make the bead look like two, depending on how you string it. This one starts as half Navy/half Ivory with a matte AB finish. The Aurora Borealis coating gives it a rainbow effect and then the bead is tumbled to take the shine off. Pretty cool, right?

Project Ideas: We have several fun projects now that use GemDuos, including Stepping Stones and Beachside Bracelet. And, Kate has done a pair of GemDuo Earrings called, Lamplight, which are always a huge hit when she wears them Live on Youtube. This GemDuo was in the Stepping Stones Collection that was a limited edition offering in September 2025.

Sizing info: 8X5mm, holes are about 0.8mm and are spaced 4mm apart.
