Scandalous performances gave her celebrity, but her legacy lives on through her heroic work with the French Resistance during WWII, the Civil Rights Movement in the US 1950s and 60s, and her illustrious entertainment career. What better choice of goddess for Kate, with her love of the Roaring 20s and adventure?
