This new version of Trail Ride waited many years for us to find a manufacturer who could remake the original Surround Slider. The original Trail Ride was an instant success for a very long time.... We made multiples samples with all kinds of techniques and ingredients, but Janice kept longing for that Surround Slider... and finally! We have it. Original Trail Ride was done with 5mm Natural Strap Leather. Janice has worn the original sample so much, it has turned a mahogany brown. In making the updated version, Janice decided to use Medium Brown Strap Leather, but you can use whatever you like! Be sure to read through the original handout; there's lots of fun information and ideas. And the leather is going to be stiff for a bit... it's just like a new pair of leather shoes. The more you wear them, right?
The total length on the new sample is 14.5 inches. One yard of Strap Leather is more than plenty for a bracelet. This can also be done in antique copper and antique gold! Wear and enjoy!
