Project and Sample by Kate Richbourg
Ingrid is an old name with Scandanavian origins meaning beloved and beautiful. We can’t think if a better name to describe this mixed-metal work of art!
This is not just a Kate Classic…a Kate Signature! Kate pioneered this method of making Viking Knit, an ancient wire weaving technique used by…you guessed it, the Vikings! Examples of this beautiful wirework have been found in archeological digs in Scandinavia and the British Isles dating back to the tome of the Vikings, used in jewelry and as decorative trim.
Learn this incredible stitch and create a bracelet worthy of a Viking warrior woman.
Additional Learning: Ingredients list is to the left and easy shopping can be done with the Shop and Tools Tabs above!
Please join us as our worldwide community gathers on Facebook at 10:30am Pacific Time on April 25th, 2018. It’s so much fun to go live with us and bead together! After the live broadcast the video will be available above.
