Emily returns for the first time in 2021...back with another great project that you'll love to make! Way back in 2018 she showed us an awesome take on the classic brick stitch earring design, calling them Lantern Earrings. There was much discussion on The Bead Table after that broadcast, and the idea of making the lantern shape in 3D was kicked around...and here it is!
Using some of the same pattern from the Lantern Earring but “oomphing” it up times three, this is a fun and challenging design that will also explore more fringe techniques. In a second broadcast, airing 3.26.21 for Free Tip Friday, Emily will be back again to discuss and debate all kinds of fringe with a deep dive into designs from all kinds of stitching.
