Carnelian is a Chalcedony stone that dates back to Greek and Roman antiquity. Used by the Romans to carve crests and profiles, the image would then be dipped in wax and used as a seal for important documents.

Sizing Info: 4mm, with a 0.8-1.1mm hole. For knotting, we recommend Fine C-Lon.
Mined in Brazil or India. Expect slight variations in size. Color has been heat treated and dyed to stabilize color.
