Beautiful English Cut beads are the modern version of a bead making style that was popular before machine-cut glass existed. With large, uneven facets cut by hand, these glass beads looks like gems...and were created as a gem substitute. Made even more popular during Victorian times when Jet was all the rage, English Cuts became a staple. From there, the rest is history.
English Cuts are now available in the most amazing colors and coatings and we can't wait to play! From simple stringing and wire wrapping to making floats and laddering…it’s all so much fun with a bead with personality!
