Project and Sample by Kate Richbourg

Taking inspiration from Danielle's XOXO Bracelet, (you may find it helpful to download her handout from this page to assist with Herrigbone basics. Please not the pattern and bead counts are different in Danielle's piece, but the general info is helpful!)

Kate uses herringbone stitch to create a beaded "frames" strip. She then usedĀ E600 to adhere 2 strips of UltraSuede together and the beaded motif on top.

Project notes:

  • Each "frame" takes 42 beads in one color. Center beads are random.
  • Base row is an 8-row, 2-bead ladder stitch for a total of 8 pairs of beads across in ladder stitch.
  • For this 7" bracelet I beaded 7 motifs across.Ā
  • Stitch is even count herringbone.
  • Fireline 4 lb white.
  • Needle 12/0
  • Watch the broadcast for complete instructions.
