Project and Sample by Kate Richbourg
With summer music festivals in mind, Kate pulled together a palette of beads and components...lots of leather, tribal and trade, and some really down-to-earth colors! Starting with a new technique of lace knots (so cool), Kate segues into a second wrap of Infinity Stitched Miyukis. Next is a criss-crossed wrap using large-holed tribal beads, feeding the leather through the Circles, crossing and coming back together inside a Russian Blue. Wrap number 4 is a chevron-patterned 8/0 Infinity Stitch wrap, with five 8/0s across. The final wrap is also Infinity Stitched with Bugles, Shadows, and Padres. Ending with a flourish, Kate has a charm, a bead on a headpin, and a large Sand Cast bead before the button loop. Dazzling! And perfect for a sunny summer day filled with music and good vibes.

Please join us as our worldwide community gathers on Facebook and YouTube at 10:30am Pacific Time on July 14, 2021. It’s so much fun to go live with us and bead together! After the live broadcast the video will be available above. We also aired a second short video on just the Lace Knot, as in the original broadcast this part tripped us up a bit! Find the second video here and linked above as well.
