Project and Sample by Emily Miller

During harvest time in Northern California, the grapes are ready for wine making, figs are still ripening on the trees, and in the evening the colors deepen: blue sky becomes dusty and fades to purples. The fall season is a subtle shift from hot golden colors to cooler tones, nature’s ombré! Remember the mantra of peyote, 'pick up a bead, skip a bead, go thru the next bead'.

Peyote Stitch looks fancy but is easy to do. A great addition to your skill set, it is part of our Seed Bead School, which Emily is doing with Kate on Facebook LIVE. Click on the VIDEO tab above and learn along. If you’re new to Peyote, buying our Seed Bead School Inna Kit makes learning Peyote Stitch easy. Once you’ve learned the basics you can easily graduate to colors and get really creative.
