Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2021 brought a lovely surprise...two colors! Ultimate Gray and Illuminating, the gray-yellow duo Pantone calls “A marriage of color conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting.”
Janice took these colors as her project inspiration for her latest Color Study sample and dubbed it Dandelion Wishes, thinking of both the bold yellow blooms of dandelions that give way to the beautiful puffs of dandelion seeds. Did you ever pick one and blow the seeds away to make a wish? What did you wish for?
Please note, Janice uses Pony Express beads in her sample, but as we are unable to restock these little guys right now, JP suggests using Czech Rollers instead!
