Bijou Button- Red & Gold

"Bijou" is French for Gem and we knew right away this faceted delight would become a favorite. It begins as a scarlet red glass button and then the magic happens! The top of the button is hand-painted with gold and sea green to accents the geometric design. The back is coated in silver with a metal shank. 

Made in the Czech Republic today in the same manner (and sometimes the same molds) as were used prior to WWII, these buttons are so collectible.

Sizing Info: At 18mm, this button is perfect for just about any project! The 2.5mm shank fits up to 2.0mm Leather.

Made in the Czech Republic.  Handle with care, glass buttons can break.
