Art Nouveau Swirl Button- Vitrail Green & Gold

This glorious 27mm button was hand picked by Janice (no surprise!) and is made in the Czech Republic. It begins as vitrail green glass.  A silver coating is applied to the back. The vitrail coating gives the button both flashes of purples and green... so no two buttons are the same and the final touch? Gold is hand-painted delicately on the top to highlight the leaves. 

With a generous metal shank that fits up to 2.5mm leather, this button would look lovely on a SuperDuo Cuff or Trail’s End style. Or, grab some wire and create a stunning cocktail ring.
