Project and Sample by Kate Richbourg
Cut enough thread so you don't have to add thread mid-project. About a yard should do it. Depending on the size of the bead, you may need to adjust the length of the fringe. do a test string of a pattern and measure it against the bead. there should be a bit of space between the bead hole and the turning bead. For this 17mm bead there are 14 fringes. Stringing order is:
- 3 -11/0 beads
- 2-SP3 spacers
- 1- 8/0 bead
- 1- 11/0 bead
- 1- 8/0 bead
- 1- 11/0 bead
- 1- 8/0 bead
- 2-SP3 spacers
- 3 -11/0 beads
Add one 11/0 bead as a turning bead at the end of the fringe and then back up the fringe, add 1- 11/0 for the top circle gather and repeat the process for as many tassel legs as needed to fit around the bead.
