Project and Sample by Janice Parsons

Situated in Southeast Oregon, Crater Lake is known for its pristine blue waters. Formed more than 7,000 years ago by a volcano, Crater Lake is the deepest body of water in the US. We were inspired by its “bluest blue” water and the silvery, snowy mountains surrounding the lake.

Prairie is one of our most beloved projects and Crater Lake takes it to a new level with the addition of the half-circle magnetic clasp and a new top-stitch beading technique, we wonder why we never thought of doing before!

    Project Map

This is an All Levels Project and can be completed in 4+ hours. This design uses one meter of strap leather and will net a 5-6 wrap bracelet, depending on your wrist size.

Please note: Metallic Silver Strap Leather is more temperamental than the plain colors. If you want to wear this wrap a lot, we recommend using a plain color like blue. Have fun beading and we hope you find inspiration from Nature around you. And, if you can, learn more about how we can help Save our National Parks.
