Flames, fire and deity all played a huge role in looking up at the constellations and myths from ancient times. The bright, rich orange of this carnelian pairs perfectly with gold beads and underscores how we are still mesmerized by stars named for fire and flame.
This project explores a combination of stringing and wire wrapping skills to create a cohesive jewelry set. Techniques include patterning and stringing gemstones, using end tips, and wire wrapping beads and briolettes.
