Constellation Jewels- Corvus

By Sam Applegate

The corvus constellation, named after the crow, is home to many stars and deep sky objects. Although the crow is often times depicted as evil and wicked, they are unique loyal creatures underneath the surface. This labradorite and brass earring and bracelet set has beautiful gray, blue and yellow hues. This project explores a combination of stringing and wire wrapping skills to create a cohesive jewelry set. Techniques include patterning and stringing gemstones, using end tips, and wire wrapping beads and briolettes.
