Inspired by Tricks to Laddering, Cindy Brook has created, Stepping Stones, a 5-wrap bracelet that balances the soft warmth of tan leather and creamy pearls against rich, earthy browns and elegant greens. Growing up with a father who loved art, Cindy was surrounded by creativity at a young age. She also knew she loved beads from the moment she walked into her first bead store. The recipe for Stepping Stones is listed below the photograph and all the ingredients we carry at beadshop are available for purchase under the SHOP tab above. If you want to see what else Cindy is up to, she has invited us to visit her on Facebook. Thank you, Cindy!
Two techniques, one button, a few beads, leather and thread….that’s all you need to make a delicious 4 wrap bracelet. Watch the video and download the companion handout and be transported to another place.
Skill Builders used in this project:
Have you made a beadshop.com project that you would like to share? Please send your photos to info@beadshop.com. In order to use them on our website, photos need to be high-quality and sharp with space on all sides; we crop them to fit our format. If you have the option to send it with your smartphone, pick "large" setting, whenever possible. If you've made changes to the pattern or colors, we’d love to hear about the ingredients you've used. Giving it a name is an extra bonus and a few words on what the project means to you really helps us share your creative process with our readers. Selected Showcase Winners will receive a $10 gift card to beadshop.com and be featured on our website. We can’t wait to hear from you!
