Tranquil 2 Stitch by Carol Bongfeldt

Our featured beader this week, Carol Bongfeldt, first contacted us to ask Janice to put together a custom palette of beads for a project that she loved, Tree Frog 2 Stitch. She was inspired by the cool blue hues of Belize and Safari, and wanted a color palette to tie them together. Janice loved going through our inventory, finding just the right shades of cord, leather and seed beads, and finally sending a picture to Carol for her approval. Once the ingredients were in the mail, we couldn't wait to see what Carol created with them, and we were not disappointed! Her vision for this project was perfectly realized. Carol, who has been beading for just over a year, is inspired by nature and sees beading as her "wind down time" - which, as a second grade teacher with two kids and a firefighter husband, must be in short supply! She enjoys making projects to give as gifts to friends. We want to thank Carol for approaching us to put together a custom palette for her, and for sharing the beautiful finished project.
