It's Kate's favorite time of year...her birthday month! And this month's mix really sparkles and shines. Sapphire is the stone for September, and WOW is this a stunner! Kate took her inspiration from Elizabeth Taylor’s Bulgari sapphire and diamond sautoir necklace, given to her as a 40th birthday present (one of many gifts that year!) from her husband Richard Burton. The couple were in Budapest, Hungary, while Burton filmed Bluebeard.
This mix is a blend of 8/0 Round Rocailles, an 8/0 Hex Cut, a Half Tila, and 6mm Bugles. Try them out in loomed or laddered pieces, or see how Kate uses it in her upcoming 5 Stitch wrap, Budapest.
