Project and Samples by Kate Richbourg

Gorgeous! Kate's latest kit is here, create a wrap bracelet (or a necklace!) loaded with recycled glass rom Ghana. In preparation for The Great Bead Extravaganza's Midsummer Market this weekend, we have three limited-edition kit colorways available while supplies last.

Kate really gave each kit the time of day...literally! She curated each palette while thinking of the colors of morning, afternoon, and evening...the sky, the clouds, the sun, the flora and fauna.

In each kit, you'll have enough materials to make one multi-wrap bracelet or necklace. Each kit is packaged in an organza bag and includes:

  • 7 Yards 1mm Leather
  • A variety of beads from Ghana: recycled glass, feather glass, lost wax cast brass, and brass spacers
  • 1 Ashanti Saucer (used as a clasp/button)

Exclusive to this kit, not available for individual sale.

To create this project, you will want to also have on-hand these tools and supplies that are not included in this kit: Flush Cutters, Clampers, and GS Hypo Cement.

Watch Kate's shows to learn about the kits and how to create your own Beach Glass piece:
Friday, 7.22.22 at 10:30am Pacific Time, on our YouTube Channel and Facebook Page for our weekly Free Tip Friday broadcast, this episode featuring an in-depth look at these kits and other products we carry that you can use to make your own version.
Saturday, 7.23.22 at 11:00am Pacific Time, Kate makes the project itself on The Great Bead Extravaganza Page, as well as on our own YouTube Channel and Facebook Page.
Wednesday, 8.10.22 at 10:30am Pacific Time, Kate takes a fourth colorway, the golden browns and yellows called Sunrise, and creates a necklace! Find the video on our YouTube Channel and Facebook Page as well as above.

As with all our made-in-house kits, we have a limited amount, and once they are gone, they’re truly gone!
